The abstract of a recent NBER working paper (emphasis added):

We exploit a policy discontinuity at USA country borders to set the effects of unemployment insurance policies on unemployment. Our estimates imply that most of the persistent increase inward unemployment during the Great Recession tin travel accounted for past times the unprecedented extensions of unemployment produce goodness eligibility.
